What You'll be
Doing:
Assist and perform sheet metal fabrication, maintenance and installation of HVAC and kitchen equipment. Work will be completed based on blueprints, drawings and verbal instructions. This position regularly operates tools and equiptment such as snips, shears, grinders, hammers, saws, drills and welding equipment while performing job duties. Overtime may be required based on operational needs. This position represents a dual-level posting and will be filled as Associate Sheet Metal Worker (SK1) or Sheet Metal Worker (SK2). Qualified Candidates Will Need:
High School Diploma/GED 1+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and work Valid driver's license
Skills Needed:
Strong oral and written communication skills Mathematical calculation skills Computer skills/familiarity with word processor and spreadsheets Able to utilize electronic procurement system Ability to lift and carry 50 to 80 lbs. frequently, and up to 100 lbs. or more occasionally Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolds and work from height up to 100 feet Ability to work under a variety of conditions, such as confined space (tunnels, pits), heights and hot/cold conditions Required to work outdoors 30% of the time in temperatures below 32 degrees and above 90 degrees Education and Experience (SK2)

High School Diploma/GED 3+ years of experience with sheet metal repair, fabrication and installation work, HVAC ductwork and fittings, soldering, welding, and ability to interput blueprints, and fabricate from drawings or sketches Valid driver's license
