The Templating Associate is responsible for accurately measuring and digitally templating customer sites for countertop installations. This role ensures that all measurements and project details are translated into precise digital files for fabrication. The position requires technical accuracy, strong attention to detail, and effective communication with both the production and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution from drawing to finished product. Responsibilities Perform on-site templating for residential and commercial countertop projects using digital measuring tools. Confirm and plan project details based on work orders, drawings, and customer specifications. Translate field measurements into digital programs for fabrication using Alphacam or other approved CAD software. Collaborate with the Production and Installation teams to ensure design intent, measurements, and fabrication details align. Verify dimensions, materials, edge profiles, sink and appliance locations, and seam placements for accuracy prior to production. Assist with office or production support tasks as needed, including updating job files, communicating with customers or contractors, and maintaining measurement equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety standards. Participate in regular production meetings to communicate material status and needs. May perform other duties assigned by Management. Required Skills & Abilities Experience with digital templating systems (e.g., LT-55, Proliner) Ability to program measurements in Alphacam or similar software Basic understanding of construction drawings and fabrication workflow General computer literacy and comfort with measurement tools and lasers Strong attention to detail and accuracy Clear, professional communication with team members and clients Dependable and accountable for quality and timelines Adaptable to changing site conditions and schedules Collaborative and customer-focused attitude Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred) Prior experience in countertop templating, construction, or related field helpful Willingness to learn Alphacam and company-specific systems Valid driver's license with clean driving record (required for site travel) Red Envelope Consulting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
