Job Description

ESSENTIAL
DUTIES and
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Cut, Process, Transport, Test, Tag, Inspect, Pack, Load and Off Load steel tooling, billet and tube materials.
  • Monitor, manipulate and change various equipment and tooling
  • Perform light construction and preventative maintenance related duties as assigned.
  • Ensure availability of supplies and tools necessary to safely perform all related job functions.
  • Communicate to Management and peers regarding quality, preventative maintenance, customer focus and equipment issues, concerns and improvement initiatives. Participate in Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
  • Maintain clean & safe work, break and locker areas using 6S principles and standard.
  • Wear all required safety equipment and participate in Safety Initiatives.
  • Follow all applicable procedures, directions and instructions.
  • Ensure proper preventative maintenance related to all materials, processes and equipment.
  • Other tasks as assigned. Core Responsibilities

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous experience in manufacturing setting preferred. 1-year continuous work experience preferred.
  • Individuals performing in the Pickle position are required to have RCRA Training, provided by Crossroads Seamless USA .
  • Individuals performing in the NDT position are required to have Eddy Current and Ultrasonic Testing Training, provided by Crossroads Seamless

              PBS I:
              Consistent in performing standard work, problem solves department triggers, plans and leads effective meetings, achieves improvements to KPI. Follows up and follows through on action items, uses visuals and data to communicate changes, works with Production Supervisor to identify improvement opportunities. Returns tools and equipment to proper position and placement at the end of the day. Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
                Training and Development:
                Willingness to train, learn and progress (including outside normal department). Offers ideas for new training or participates in developing or delivering training to co-workers. Meets or exceeds required yearly training requirements.
                WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color recognition, and ability to adjust focus.
