Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Production Associates to support daily manufacturing and assembly operations at a production facility in Fort Wayne, IN. This position may perform a variety of duties, including gluing, product inspection/checking, machine setup, and moving materials or finished products. The ideal candidate has previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, is comfortable working with machinery and hand tools, and can accurately follow work instructions and quality standards. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Support assembly and production operations by gluing, checking, setting up, and moving products and materials as needed. Operate and assist with production machines and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines. Inspect products and components for quality, accuracy, defects, and proper assembly. Use tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools to verify product dimensions and specifications. Set up work areas and equipment, stage materials, and move products throughout the production area. Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment when qualified and authorized. Use hand and power tools to complete assembly, production, and material-handling tasks. Follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality requirements while maintaining accurate and consistent work. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production needs, quality concerns, and workflow. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and company policies. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, production, or assembly environment. Familiarity with machine operation and basic manufacturing processes. Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure; experience using micrometers and calipers preferred. Familiarity with hand and power tools. Previous forklift operating experience preferred; forklift certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently when needed. Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Schedule & Compensation Days:
