Job Description

We are currently accepting applications for a Feed Mill Associate for our Farmers Cooperative Association (FCA) Feed Department in Baxter Springs, Kansas. Founded in 1950, the FCA is a member-owned ag retail cooperative serving farmers and ranchers throughout the region. The Feed Mill Associate performs all duties associated with feed processing, ensuring equipment and facilities are maintained safely and accurately. This role also supports warehouse operations, including inventory management and maintaining an organized work environment. This team member will have regular customer interaction, so strong customer service skills are essential. Strict adherence to safety policies, procedures, and regulations is required. Forklift operation experience is preferred. Experience with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and/or feed production is preferred. This position is a great starting point for building a career with us. Motivated associates have the opportunity to advance into greater responsibility and more senior roles within the department over time.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Flushing, mixing, and sequencing procedures
  • Adding accurate ingredient amounts per batch sheet
  • Daily drug log reconciliation
  • Preparing required reports and inventory status updates
  • Warehouse inventory tracking and organization
  • Maintaining a clean and safe facility
  • Assisting at the loading dock We're looking for a self-motivated individual with the ability to communicate and collaborate well with our team and patrons.
Seasonal overtime and assistance in other departments will be required. Candidates must pass all preemployment requirements. Pay:
$35,000.00
