Job Description

Key Responsibilities Responsibilities may include: Assisting with assigned manufacturing and fabrication projects while learning how to follow project scope, directions, and procedures. Supporting form-fitting, tack-welding, and production tasks under the guidance of experienced team members. Learning to safely assist machine operators with fabrication equipment such as brakes, rolls, and other shop equipment. Following welding procedures and completing training or certifications as directed. Reporting changes, mistakes, broken equipment, or safety hazards to a supervisor or team lead. Practicing quality workmanship and supporting continuous improvement methods. Learning to safely use shop power tools and assist with material movement when trained and authorized. Following all safety rules, quality policies, and workplace expectations. Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and reporting to work on time. Performing other duties as assigned to support the manufacturing team. Report broken equipment and safety hazards to supervisor. What We re Looking For A student or early-career candidate interested in manufacturing, welding, fabrication, industrial technology, or a related field. A strong willingness to learn, ask questions, follow directions, and adapt quickly to changing project needs. A team-oriented attitude with a focus on safety, quality, reliability, and continuous improvement. Basic familiarity with tools, shop environments, welding, or fabrication is helpful but not required. Why Intern with ICM?
