Machine Operator Pay Rate

Job Description This role focuses on operating production machinery and mixers to manufacture high-quality printing ink in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Associates will be responsible for running ink batches, operating mill and mixing equipment, packaging finished products, performing quality checks, and supporting maintenance activities. All new hires will train on 1st shift before moving to their assigned schedule. Responsibilities Operate mill machines and mixers to produce printing ink according to production standards and specifications. Run, mix, and weigh batches while following process instructions, quality requirements, and safety procedures. Package finished products, apply labels, perform canning activities, and support warehouse operations as needed. Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment while supporting TPM initiatives and quality control processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum 6 months of production experience and 3 months of machine operating experience required. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and TPM activities. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work, including repetitive motions and material handling. Forklift, mixing, mill operation, pump filter, or related manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Work Environment Manufacturing facility producing printing ink with work performed in both production and warehouse areas. Uniforms are provided to protect personal clothing, and employees have access to locker rooms and workplace amenities. Some positions involve heavy lifting, repetitive motions, and working with ink products in a fast-paced environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edwardsville, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00
  • $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
