Assembler / Production Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembly Operator to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for putting together parts or pieces following a set of blueprints or schematics. The Assembler is responsible for verifying correct quantities of parts and checking completed items for quality in a timely manner. Responsibilities Truck Bed Assembly (i.e. wiring, decals, latches, doors, hardware, toolboxes, etc.) Perform touch up paint and inspect for quality of paint jobs (i.e. if any re-work is needed) Inspect equipment, structures or materials to identify cause of errors or other problems/defects and to ensure the product is in working order and function Prepare and inventory parts and materials for the Assembly Lines Maintain a safety awareness attitude along with remaining alert to potential hazards Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization by keeping tools, material and equipment in proper places Ensure proper safety procedures are followed and personal protective equipment is worn at all times Utilize equipment and material to maximize production and minimize costs for quality control purposes Provide production support in other areas as needed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other manufacturing processes preferred. Ability to recognize and solve practical problems or issues as they arise Ability to read and interpret blueprints is preferred, but not required. 1+ year industry experience including assembly is preferred, but not required.
