Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Coordinator to help keep our manufacturing operations running efficiently. In this role, you will coordinate production schedules, monitor workflow, maintain inventory accuracy, and work closely with supervisors to ensure products are completed on time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, organization, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Coordinate and monitor production schedules to ensure work is completed on time. Track production progress and prepare daily production reports. Work with department supervisors to identify and resolve production delays or workflow issues. Adjust production schedules due to material shortages, labor availability, engineering changes, or other interruptions. Review and close work orders to ensure accurate inventory and production costing. Assist with physical inventory by coordinating the completion and closing of work orders before inventory counts. Maintain production documentation, inventory records, and status reports. Review upcoming work orders to identify scheduling concerns or potential production issues. Support special production projects and priority orders. Troubleshoot and report production software or system issues that impact operations. Provide documentation regarding delays, schedule changes, or production concerns. Answer incoming company phone calls as needed. Participate in an on-call rotation to support production when required. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Up to two years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with manufacturing or inventory management software is a plus. Ability to read and interpret work instructions, procedures, and safety documentation. Basic math skills, including algebra and geometry. Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality. Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing facility and requires working in a fast-paced production environment.
