You will gain hands-on experience in metal casting and material handling while developing the technical skills necessary to advance into specialized production roles. Responsibilities Support core foundry processes including melting, casting, and mold preparation to ensure consistent production output. Maintain a safe and organized facility by performing regular housekeeping and material management tasks. Operate equipment to move raw materials and finished components, ensuring a smooth workflow across departments. Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods to monitor quality and improve process reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets and maintain high operational standards. Demonstrate a commitment to safety by strictly adhering to all workplace protocols and equipment handling guidelines. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn technical manufacturing processes. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods. Proven reliability, strong attendance record, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Must be able to pass a pre-employment respirator fit test, background check, and drug screening. Preferred Skills Prior experience working in the metals or heavy industrial manufacturing industry. Familiarity with industrial safety standards and quality control documentation. Experience operating material handling equipment or industrial machinery.
