Job Description
Summary The primary role of this position is transporting materials back and forth from Production Facility (Olathe, KS) to Shipping Warehouse (Lenexa, KS). Other duties include occasional deliveries to regional customers or picking up materials from local suppliers. In addition, the Driver is a member of the production team, participating in liquid filling operations in our Olathe warehouse. This includes packing and shipping and requires lifting up to 50 lbs. Primary Responsibilities Transport released materials from the Production Facility to the local Shipping Warehouse and bring packaging materials on return trips to support upcoming production runs. Load and unload materials and equipment safely while following all safety protocols and CDL-A driving regulations. Assist with staging orders using first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory practices. Participate in daily production, including running a semi-automated filling line. Pack and unload full cases of product and stack on pallets. General housekeeping (sweep, mop, trash removal). Additional duties as assigned. Required Skills Valid CDL Class A license with
NO RESTRICTIONS
(Air Brake, tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred). Additional endorsements can be acquired after hire. Proficient and safe operation of a forklift to load and unload trucks. Clean driving record. Knowledge of DOT Hazmat shipping specifications preferred. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to truck driving and warehouse operations. Experience in a warehouse environment using standard practices preferred. Attention to detail to maintain quality products. Flexibility to work in various parts of the filling process. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong team player. Excellent communication skills including verbal, email, and text messaging.Benefits:
