Job Title:

Machine Shop Worker Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Machine Shop Worker to join our team. This role involves operating a plasma cutting machine, primarily uploading code and operating the machine, without requiring direct physical plasma cutting. The position offers opportunities to work on different shifts: First shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Second shift from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Responsibilities + Operate the plasma cutting machine by uploading code and initiating operations. + Organize materials on racks or pallets for transport to the shipping/receiving department. + Ensure flexibility in operating various machines, including the A36 Cutting Table System. + Work with a variety of conductive materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and copper. + Maintain quality control and ensure accuracy in the cutting processes. Essential Skills + Experience with machining and operating cutting tables. + Familiarity with plasma cutting processes and machinery. + Ability to work with the A36 Cutting Table System and similar equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Prior experience in fabrication, welding, and cutting is beneficial. + Knowledge of blueprint reading and editing. + Experience with sheet metal loading and lathe operations is a plus. + Experience in quality control practices. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00
