Paint Line Lead Himoinsa Power Systems Olathe, KS Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Team leadership High school diploma or GED Powder coating Leading team collaboration initiatives Manufacturing Factory experience Manufacturing company experience Full Job Description Job Summary Paint Line Lead is responsible for directing all powder coating operations. Giving instructions to process product per specifications and within tolerance, complete all clean-up and housekeeping procedures, and comply with all quality, safety, work rules, and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Following the production plan provided by the Sheet Metal Manager. Ensure daily chemical titration checks are accomplished before starting the coating process. Ensure all equipment is in serviceable condition before starting the coating process. Understand mathematics to verify job requirements and specifications. Properly mark finished product with the proper part number per their work orders. Contribute to the maintenance of the Quality Management System through the correct execution of its functions and/or activities. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System Consistently follows and adheres to all safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP's). Attention to detail and accuracy is paramount. Must be able to follow verbal and written work instructions/procedures.
Competencies, Skills, and Abilities:
High school diploma or equivalent, required. 4-5 years' experience working in a sheet metal fabrication industry (cutting, forming, welding). Strong leadership qualities required. Ability to read and answer questions regarding welding and forming prints. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Ability to understand and communicate. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures. Flexibility in work assignments and priorities is required to address the dynamic needs of our customers and shifts in production requirements. Good communication skills, bilingual (English/Spanish), a plus
Physical Demands:

The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time; frequently move around the workstation/area and production floor, using PPE all the time; position themselves to access different areas and angles of the product being assembled, including stooping, bending, and crouching. Lifts, pushes/pulls, carries, or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. May have to move an object from one location to another. Stands for long periods of time. Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and steel-toed shoes usage required. Frequently use hands and fingers to handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms to operate equipment and install components or move parts/equipment. Visual acuity is necessary to do the job safely and effectively. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision work to perform inspections and in reading schematics, peripheral, profundity, blueprints, and instructions. Must be able to distinguish and ensure product quality in a fast-paced production environment. Must be able to identify, prioritize, and meet multiple expectations for the area of responsibility. Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Frequently use hands and fingers, to handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms to operate equipment and install components or move parts/equipment. Lifts, pushes/pulls, carries, or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly. May have to move an object from one location to another. Work Environment:
This position works in a non-air-conditioned warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and some exposure to dust, fumes, and gases.
