Full-time (Monday-Friday, Day Shift) About Us James Alexander Specialty Paints is an independent manufacturer of premium architectural coatings. We specialize in developing sustainable, zero-VOC, and plant-based finishes. Operating out of our Olathe facility, we focus on artisanal, small-batch production for boutique retailers and direct customers. We are a small, focused team dedicated to technical accuracy, high-quality materials, and exceptional craftsmanship. The Role We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and safety-conscious Production Member to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be directly involved in the manufacturing of our specialty paints and finishes. Beyond daily production, you will also assist with new product development, color sampling, and general warehouse operations. This position requires someone who takes pride in precision, as exact formulation and batching are critical to our product quality.
Key Responsibilities Small Batch Production:
Accurately measure, mix, and package specialty paints, zero-VOC coatings, and architectural finishes according to strict formula guidelines.
Product Development Support:
Assist with R D tasks, including mixing test batches, creating physical color samples, and testing application methods for new product lines.
Warehouse Operations:
Manage daily warehouse tasks such as shipping and receiving, organizing raw materials, and maintaining accurate inventory counts.
Quality & Safety Control:
Maintain a meticulously clean and organized workspace. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols while handling raw materials and operating mixing equipment. Qualifications & Requirements Attention to

Exceptional precision in measuring, recording data, and following complex formulations.
Safety-Oriented:
A strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following operational procedures.
Experience:
Previous experience in manufacturing, batching, or production environments is highly helpful, though we are willing to train the right detail-oriented candidate.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during production runs.
Work Ethic:
