| Southeast KS A well-established manufacturer of pre-engineered products for the water, agricultural, and industrial markets is hiring a Production Control Assistant at its Southeast KS facility. This role keeps production moving on paper and in the system: you build and track the schedule, issue and follow work orders, and keep inventory and delivery data accurate. You'll sit between production, purchasing, shipping, and customer service — making sure materials, labor, and equipment line up with what customers need and flagging problems before they stall the floor. Strong performers here keep schedules realistic, orders on time, and inventory numbers clean. Anticipated $50K-$70K, based on experience Benefits include: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K w/ match, PTO, holidays First shift Overview Build and maintain daily and weekly production schedules Create, distribute, and track production work orders through completion Update ERP/MRP systems with production, inventory, and scheduling data Coordinate with purchasing and inventory to keep materials available Track inventory levels and flag shortages or excess Support cycle counts and physical inventory Report on on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and work-order completion Communicate schedule changes and priorities to supervisors and the floor Preferred Skills / Experiences High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Operations preferred 1-3 years in manufacturing production planning, scheduling, inventory control, or customer service Experience working in an ERP/MRP system Intermediate to advanced Excel; proficient in Word and Outlook Strong organization and ability to prioritize in a fast-moving plant Clear written and verbal communication with internal teams and customers
