Job Description

At Wenger Manufacturing, LLC, a JBT Marel company, we manufacture industry-leading equipment that helps customers around the world produce food more efficiently and sustainably. We're looking for a skilled and motivated Fab Operator to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality products in a safe and collaborative environment. As a Machine Operator, you'll play an important role in our manufacturing operations by operating equipment, monitoring production processes, and helping ensure products meet our quality standards.
What You'll Do:
Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor production processes and make routine adjustments to maintain quality and productivity. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and resolve routine problems independently. Perform machine setups and changeovers as required. Handle materials and support production flow throughout the work area. Complete basic equipment maintenance and inspections. Maintain accurate production documentation and report issues to supervisors. Follow established safety procedures, quality standards, and work instructions. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Assist with training and mentoring new operators. Participate in continuous improvement efforts and support process enhancements. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or industrial experience preferred. Ability to operate machinery and production equipment safely and effectively. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and follow work instructions and procedures. Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
