Job Summary We are seeking an energetic 2nd Shift Production Lead to oversee evening floor operations. You will guide daily manufacturing activities, keep machinery running smoothly, and support our team. As the primary link between workers and management, you will drive quality, safety, and a high-performing team culture.
Key Responsibilities Floor Operations:
Oversee daily manufacturing activities to hit production goals and coordinate with maintenance to resolve downtime.
Leadership & Coaching:
Assign daily tasks, manage shift schedules, onboard new hires, and provide performance coaching.
Quality Assurance:
Enforce quality checklists, inspect finished products, and implement root-cause corrective actions for defects.
Safety & Compliance:
Enforce OSHA regulations, PPE usage, 5S standards, and GMP/food safety guidelines.
Reporting & KPIs:
Track daily metrics, yields, and downtime; deliver end-of-shift reports and ensure smooth shift handoffs.
Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience in manufacturing or production.
Knowledge:
Working knowledge of OSHA guidelines, 5S principles, and GMPs (SQF experience is a major plus!).
Skills:
strong communication, coaching abilities, mechanical troubleshooting, and basic KPI data entry.
Physical Demands:
