Job Description

Paint Sunbelt Solomon 22-25 United States, Kansas, Solomon 129 West Main Street (Show on map) Sep 15, 2026 Role and Responsibilities Ability to accurately prep and paint, an average of 65 pole mounted units a day and 10-15 pad mounted units per day.

Ability to demonstrate proper safety protocol when using tools and working in the area.

Ability to demonstrate accuracy when performing final quality check before unit moves on to the next station.

Ability to follow work order.

Insists on safety as job 1. Qualifications and Education Requirements Related work in sanding/painting preferred

Additional Requirements:

Cooperative attitude towards all internal and external customers.

Help team members resolve questions and help with the workload.

A dependable and strong work ethic.

Professional language and conduct at all times.

Submit STEP idea (minimum of one annually).

Ability to learn other areas sufficient to fill in where required.

High School or GED preferred

OSHA10 certified, preferred

1 year experience in paint manufacturing, preferred

1 year experience material handling equipment (forklift, crane, etc.), preferred

Knowledge of basic hand tools preferred

A proven track record in safety excellence is required.

Adheres to all safety and environmental compliance regulations set by the organization. Notify management immediately of any safety concerns, hazardous conditions, or injuries.

Ability to read and interpret work orders.

Meet department and production goals set by supervisor.

Ensure product quality meets company and client expectations.

Possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, cooperative attitude, strong attention to detail and can work in a team environment.

Adheres to the company's employee handbook policies and embodies the organization's core values.

Ability to learn other department job functions and fill in as needed.

Complete company compliance and safety training when required.

Ability to work a flexible schedule and work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.

Physical requirements for this role include, but are not limited to the following:

Safety protocols require the completion and passing of a respiratory fit test

Lift 50lbs floor to waist and waist to shoulder multiple times

Standing and walking for long durations

Bending, squatting, and kneeling multiple times for long durations

The ability to climb up and down a ladder multiple times

Balance and stand on a ladder with three points of contact for extended periods of time

Comfortable working in the heat and cold due to manufacturing facilities not being climate controlled
