Production Helper Job Description The Production Helper supports manufacturing operations by tending assigned machines, handling materials, and maintaining product quality according to established procedures and specifications. This role involves inspecting materials, repacking small rolls of string, and assisting across production areas to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous workflow in a large, climate-controlled facility. Responsibilities Tend assigned production machines according to established procedures and product specifications, including retrieving materials, harvesting finished material, cleaning equipment, and setting up the next spools. Inspect all material placed on machines during setup and verify the quality of finished material harvested from the machines, following product-specific quality standards. Re-pack small rolls of string accurately and efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards. Assist in tasks within the primary department and support other production areas as needed to ensure smooth operations. Perform all work safely and consistently meet production standards, whether working under direct supervision or independently. Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of production and material handling. Interact professionally with coworkers and contribute positively to a cooperative team environment. Work effectively within a functional group, coordinating tasks with other employees and departments. Work independently while understanding the importance of clear and effective communication and coordination across teams. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and safe use of equipment. Demonstrate reliable attendance to support continuous production operations. Essential Skills Experience working in production, manufacturing, general labor, or general production environments. Ability to operate as a line operator or production helper in a manufacturing setting. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment. Capability to frequently lift 10-25 lbs and occasionally lift 25-50 lbs using proper lifting techniques. Ability to lift material up to 65 lbs repetitively while maintaining safe lifting practices. Ability to push and pull loads up to 110 lbs as required by production tasks. Ability to stand on concrete for an entire shift. Ability to walk up ladders or stairs as needed for machine access and material handling. Demonstrated good attendance and reliability. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Previous experience in production, line operation, or manufacturing environments. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills to coordinate work with coworkers and other departments. The work requires standing on concrete for the entire shift, frequently lifting and moving materials, and occasionally climbing ladders or stairs. The setting is structured, safety-focused, and designed for efficient production, with clear procedures and standards guiding daily tasks. Typical manufacturing attire is expected, suitable for physical work and adherence to safety guidelines. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.55 - $19.55/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
