Job Summary:
As a Production Associate in Visors, you will be supporting production by operating various machinery like the roller bed, automation cell, the lens snapper, heat stamper, and cutting table. You will also be required to follow safety and quality standards and maintain a clean work area.Schedule:
Monday- Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm and overtime as neededPay:
Starting rate $20.95 progressing to $22.25 within the first yearSupervisory Responsibilities:
None Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prompt and reliable attendance
- Work required overtime schedules
- Comply with all safety requirements
- Clean work areas and machinery applying 6S methods
- Communicate with and provide feedback to co-workers, Team Leaders, Group Leaders, engineers, management and others as necessary
- Obtain necessary information to complete orders
- Read work instructions
- Identify parts, product styles and materials
- Inspect parts and product for quality standards
- Obtain and move parts, materials, bins and totes to work areas
- Operate and support automation cell
- Set up and operate Hudson presses
- Set up and operate roller beds
- Operate heat former
- Operate scissor jack
- Operate sealer
- Operate Genie lift
- Operate a heat stamper
- Operate a lens snapper
- Apply correct product labeling and change label applicator
- Package finished product for shipment
- Verify that product and quantity are correct per order specifications
- Apply proper order labeling to shipment boxes
- Troubleshooting skills
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must have good hand eye coordination
- Must have the ability to read a tape measure
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
