Position Summary MS Companies is hiring immediately for a Team Lead to support our automotive manufacturing clients. This role is responsible for leading production activities, training associates, and ensuring quality and production standards are consistently met. The Team Lead serves as the first point of contact on the floor, providing guidance, support, and oversight to maintain efficient and compliant operations. Responsibilities Set up and oversee production tables, ensuring proper processes, tools, and materials are in place
Train associates on work instructions, processes, and quality standards; document training as required
Monitor production and rework activities to ensure work is performed according to established procedures
Ensure production and quality targets are met and maintained throughout the shift
Perform quality audits and verify accuracy of production data
Identify, address, and escalate quality or process issues to leadership as needed
Read and interpret work instructions, Authorized Revisions (A/Rs), and technical drawings (e.g., wire harness)
Support continuous improvement efforts by recommending process enhancements
Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Communicate effectively with associates, supervisors, and cross-functional teams
Support company policies, client requirements, and EMS/QMS standards
Assist leadership in meeting operational and departmental goals Physical Requirements Must be able to visually identify defects in color, shape, size, or texture of parts
Must be able to hear and differentiate sounds in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the workday for extended periods on concrete floors (up to 10-12 hours)
Must be able to move within buildings and operational areas, including ascending and descending stairs
Must be able to reach, turn, stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, and maintain balance to prevent falls
Must be able to reach overhead and perform repetitive movements
Must be able to lift, carry, transfer, push, and pull up to 30 lbs.
Must be able to grasp with both hands and perform fine motor tasks requiring coordination and repetitive motion
Good hand-eye coordination for inspection and material handling
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection, production, or manufacturing experience
Prior leadership, training, or team lead experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical documents
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and leadership
