Manufacturing and Production Lead Helios Aerosystems Lexington, KY Job Details Full-time $27.00 - $37.50 an hour 21 hours ago Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Qualifications Machining fixtures Assembly fixtures CAM software Holding fixtures proficiency Full Job Description Overview This is a full-time, on-site role for a Manufacturing and Production Lead located in Lexington, KY. The individual in this role will oversee all aspects of the manufacturing and production process, including day-to-day operations management, production scheduling, and quality standards. This is a hands-on position that includes setup and operation of a DN Solutions 3-axis VMC. Standard production volumes are 6 to 20 pieces per part number. Because we manufacture exclusively our own hardware, this person will have direct input on component design and will work closely with our engineering and analysis teams. Additional responsibilities include inventory and materials management and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Self-motivated problem solver with a hands-on, ownership-oriented mindset Proficient in setup and operation of a 3-axis VMC Experienced with multi-operation fixturing setups Capable of designing and fabricating fixture and workholding solutions Familiarity with CAM programming, specifically Autodesk Fusion Knowledge of AS9100 or similar Quality Management Systems (QMS) Strong planning, scheduling, and process optimization skills Experience with inventory management, supply chain coordination, and resource allocation Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus Who Were Looking For An experienced CNC operator with CAM experience who is ready to take full ownership of the manufacturing workflow. This role is a direct path to leading all production operations at a growing aerospace manufacturer.
Pay:
$27.00 - $37.50 per hour
