Able Quality Printing is a locally owned commercial printing company looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our small team. We're making a significant investment in new digital printing, automated finishing and large-format technology, while continuing to grow our apparel capabilities. We're looking for someone who enjoys learning, working with technology, solving problems and seeing customer projects go from an email request to a finished product. This is a varied role. During the same day, you might process customer orders and quotes, operate digital printing equipment, produce apparel, finish a large-format project and prepare completed work for shipment. What You'll Do Customer Orders & Workflow You'll help keep routine customer orders moving from initial request through completion. This includes processing orders received primarily through email, entering jobs and specifications into our production system, preparing routine quotes using established pricing tools, confirming job details and turnaround requirements, following up when information or artwork is missing, communicating with customers, preparing invoices and coordinating completed orders. We intentionally rely heavily on written order communication to improve accuracy and reduce errors, so strong written communication and attention to detail are important. Print Production & Finishing You'll operate and monitor modern digital printing and automated finishing equipment while producing business cards, postcards, flyers, brochures, booklets and other commercial-print products. You'll also perform quality checks, complete bindery and finishing work, count and sort products, assemble jobs, package completed work and prepare orders for pickup, delivery or shipping. Our new technology automates many production tasks, but not everything. Some jobs still require detailed and repetitive hands-on work. We're looking for someone who takes the same pride in accurately finishing hundreds of pieces by hand as they do learning a new piece of equipment. Large Format & Apparel You'll also help us grow our large-format and apparel-production capabilities. Projects may include signs, banners, posters, displays, vinyl graphics and other large-format products. You'll learn to operate our large-format equipment and assist with trimming, finishing and material organization. You'll also assist with DTF apparel production, including preparing transfers, operating heat-press equipment, checking placement and quality, and counting, sorting, folding and packaging finished apparel.
