General Production Worker (Day Shift)

Job Title:

General Production Worker - Paint Finishing (Day Shift)(Monday-Thursday) Join a Team That Values Quality, Skill, and Stability We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable General Production Worker - Paint Finishing to join our growing production team. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering high-quality finished products by inspecting and refining painted components before they move forward in the production process. What You'll Do Inspect painted parts as they exit the paint booth, identifying defects such as runs, sags, fisheyes, burrs, and rough edges Use hand grinders, sanders, and finishing tools to smooth surfaces and correct imperfections Perform precision touch-up work while maintaining product specifications and quality standards Carefully handle and position parts to prevent damage during finishing processes Follow detailed work instructions, safety procedures, and quality guidelines Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper disposal of dust and debris Conduct basic tool and equipment checks to ensure safe operation Communicate quality issues or recurring defects to production and paint teams Support additional production, assembly, or packaging tasks as needed What We're Looking For Experience in production, manufacturing, or general labor environments Ability to safely operate hand tools such as grinders and sanders Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work Mechanical aptitude and ability to recognize equipment issues Ability to follow written and verbal instructions consistently Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills Willingness to support multiple areas of production when needed Preferred Experience Paint finishing or metal finishing experience Experience working around paint booths or painted components Background in maintaining organized, efficient work areas in production settings Why You'll Want This Job Consistent 4-day workweek — enjoy long weekends every week Stable schedule with predictable hours Hands-on skill development in finishing and manufacturing processes Supportive team environment focused on safety and quality Opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement and production excellence

Schedule Day Shift:

Monday - Thursday, 5:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Work Environment You will work in a production facility focused on paint finishing operations, using hand tools and working directly with painted parts. This is an active, hands-on role requiring standing, moving materials, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace in a manufacturing setting.
