Forklift Driver Job Description This role works within the Production Department as a Material Handler, Fork Truck Driver, and Conveyance Operator. You will support production by safely unloading, moving, and supplying materials, operating forklifts and related equipment, and performing general production duties to ensure an efficient and accurate flow of parts and finished goods. Responsibilities Work within the Production Department as a Material Handler, Fork Truck Driver, and Conveyance Operator to support daily operations. Unload materials from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned locations in a safe and organized manner. Move pallets to and from the assembly line and designated locations in accordance with established safety standards. Perform all Production Team Member duties and responsibilities as needed to support production flow. Maintain and follow all required safety rules and procedures at all times. Maintain a valid fork truck certification and carry certification at all times while performing fork truck duties. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials. Complete all pre-shift and post-shift checklists or inspections for equipment and work areas. Receive all incoming freight and verify shipments as required. Complete and process necessary paperwork for incoming and outgoing materials, including documentation, records, and reports. Supply the Production team with all necessary parts, materials, and components in a timely manner. Off-load deliveries of tires, wheels, and other raw materials and ensure they are stored correctly. Inspect tires, wheels, other parts, and finished assemblies according to established inspection standards. Maintain sequence accuracy of materials and finished goods and communicate with internal customers to ensure correctness. Complete all working documentation, records, reports, and related forms as requested. Perform basic troubleshooting, problem solving, and countermeasure activities as necessary to address issues in material flow or production support. Keep the work environment safe, clean, and organized at all times. Serve as a backup for production operations when needed, including general labor, assembly, packing, and packaging tasks. Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall production and material handling operations. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Paris, KY.
