Temp-to-Hire Position Overview We are seeking a Production Assistant who will split their time between Customer Service and Production operations in a printing and fulfillment environment. The primary focus during training will be on customer service, assisting clients with customizing and placing orders by understanding their needs and matching them with the appropriate products. This role requires someone who is patient, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks while communicating with customers via an inbound call system. Key Responsibilities Customer Service Answer inbound calls through an 800-line phone system. Assist customers with placing and customizing orders based on their specific needs. Research products and provide detailed information to ensure order accuracy. Verify order details with customers verbatim before processing. Manage multiple tasks while handling incoming calls and interruptions. Maintain accurate customer records and order information. Follow up on quotes, proofs, and customer inquiries. Production Work in and around digital printing presses. Assist with finishing and post-press tasks, including hand inserting envelopes and assembling orders. Prepare materials for shipment and assist with packaging completed orders. Support general production and operational tasks as needed. Training Expectations Training will be conducted closely with the Customer Service Lead. Training focuses on quality over quantity, with no order quotas. Candidates will learn multiple pricing structures. Expect detailed note-taking and learning processes. Participate in mock customer calls based on real call scenarios. Work through real-time problem solving to ensure customer order accuracy. Qualifications Previous customer service experience in an 800-line call center environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to remain patient and professional with callers. Positive attitude and willingness to accept constructive feedback. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Basic computer skills and comfort working with order systems. Additional Requirements Background check required prior to interview. Ability to work in both an office/customer service setting and a production environment.
