Erath, LA Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 6 days ago Qualifications Teamwork Offshore petroleum and natural gas operations High school diploma or GED Cleaning Materials handling Associate's degree Full Job Description B -Operator GoM Shelf Currently looking to fill an offshore B Operator with production operations experience in the oil and gas industry to become part of our team. A successful candidate will be a team oriented, safety minded individual who possess knowledge and experience of all aspects of oil and gas operations, and the skills required to maintain a safe and operational facility.Schedule & Location:
Work schedule of 14 & 14 - or longer schedule as assigned -Offshore GoM Duties:
- Operates, monitors, tests, and maintains all process equipment and safety devices from wellhead to point of sale and/or storage
- Perform production operations on loop running jackets, providing production support for field locations.
- Experience with servicing satellite locations and the inspection and upkeep of satellite production locations.
- Operates, maintains and repairs all facility equipment on a daily basis including but not limited to: material transfers incoming and outgoing, good housekeeping, parts and material storage, record/document keeping
- Monitors the performance of wells and process equipment to maximize recovery of production; Calculate well rates, complete well tests, and report production data
- Responsible for all BSEE and USCG testing at required intervals. Participate in and/or conduct weekly/monthly safety meetings, emergency evacuation/abandon platform drills, facility orientations, etc
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Offshore Oil and Gas Production
- Ability to travel by helicopter or boat
Preferred:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
