Overview We are seeking a dedicated Shop Employee to join our team in a manufacturing and machine shop. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the shop floor. Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly process by assembling components as needed
• Support daily operations in a warehouse setting
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks and metal cleaning (grinders, buffers, bead blaster, cutting wheels, paint gun, etc.)
• Aid in material handling using forklifts when necessary
• Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the manufacturing facility
• Run different equipment in the shop on a daily basis. (band saw, drill press, press brake, automated plasma machine, hand plasma machine, shear, etc.)
• Clean, sweep, organize, and cut grass in downtime
• Adhere to all safety and shop rules.
• Any other job tasks given by the supervisor. Skills
• Experience in an manufacturing or machine shop environment is preferred
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Forklift Operation
• Mechanical knowledge to fabricate and assemble components effectively by reading blueprints or instructions
• Band saw experience needed
• Drill press experience needed
• Automated and hand plasma experience needed
• Manual and hydraulic press brake experience needed
• Hydraulic shear experience needed
• Fitting and welding experience is a plus
• Machining experience is a plus
