Job Description

Position Overview The Control Room Operator is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing all production processes associated with bagasse handling, biomass drying, biochar manufacturing, and Indirect Drying Unit (IDU) operations. This position serves as the central point of control for the facility, utilizing computerized control systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation of plant equipment and processes. The Control Room Operator monitors process performance, production rates, equipment conditions, temperatures, pressures, moisture levels, and environmental controls while coordinating closely with field operators, maintenance personnel, laboratory staff, and management. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, maximizing production efficiency, minimizing downtime, and ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to make timely operational decisions in a fast-paced industrial environment. Experience with industrial process controls, biomass processing, drying systems, manufacturing operations, or biochar production is highly preferred.
Pay:
$30.00 - $34.00 per hour
