Position Summary As a sales-oriented organization, the company's Manufacturing Sales Specialist serves as a key member of the organization's customer service team; specifically supporting the value-added fabrication/processing business. The Manufacturing Sales Specialist will work in conjunction with the inside sales team to obtain customer designs and/or order specifications; ensuring all technical aspects are met to the customer requirements. The Manufacturing Sales Specialist will also support the shop floor to ensure projects are executed properly. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Foster a culture of safety awareness & safety prioritization. Ensure that quality standards are met, champion quality ownership of work center. Enforce all company rules, policies, and procedures; communicate concerns with division management and/or Corporate. Generate and submit technical sales quotes. Develop and maintain CNC programs for TruMatic 7000 Laser/Punch combination equipment using TruTops Boost, optimizing manufacturing efficiency, machine utilization, and part quality. Convert, modify, and optimize customer-supplied CAD models and drawings in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, generating accurate, production-ready geometry for TruTops Boost programming. Build strong customer relationships to understand their evolving needs and provide proactive solutions. Collaborate with the outside sales team to close deals and ensure seamless customer experience. Analyze customer/engineering requests - such as diagrams, schematics, layouts, multi-view, and various drawings. Assist Manager with day-to-day CAD requests/processing orders. Determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of parts. File drawings and maintain catalogs of CAD/drawing data. Assist in compiling materials and specification sheets. Assist with dimensions and annotates routine drawings. Trouble shoot and support the shop floor fabrication team to ensure jobs are executed as quoted. Assist with any other assigned duties that are given by a member of the ASA management team. Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned by the division and/or corporate management team. Required Skills and Experience Minimum of 1-2 years of CAD drawing experience preferred; proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks highly preferred. Experience programming laser cutting systems, turret punch presses, laser/punch combination machines, CNC mills, or CNC lathes strongly preferred. Training on TruTops Boost and Trumpf equipment will be provided. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and design/manufacturing software such as TruTops Boost, SigmaNEST, AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, ProNest, Fusion 360, or equivalent platforms is highly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365. Experience working in a manufacturing organization preferred. Ability to read and understand customer prints, drawings, and models. Ability to work independently and be part of a team. Be self-directed and capable of prioritizing opportunities and performing multiple tasks. Proactive, solutions oriented. A quick learner and ability to communicate with a diverse clientele group. Good presentation skills and ability to communicate concisely. High energy, positive attitude, proactive problem solver. Attention to detail. Strong mathematical aptitude. Education Requirements High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. Bachelor's or Associates Degree is highly preferred. Technical school and/or practical experience is highly preferred.
