1st Shift 5:00am-5:00pm
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Responsible for handling the raw materials, operating the production line and perform duties asassigned. Clean all equipment as scheduled.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Perform all duties of the production operation. o Raw material handling. o Bean loading and soaking. o Curding. o Extracting. o Extractor cleaning. o Autoseal. o Autopack|Autocup. o Pasteurizing. o Rework. o Waste disposal. o Packaging.
ROLE PROFILE AND DESCRIPTION
Complete and maintain all required production paperwork and records. Report and document any equipment|process abnormalities. Work closely with Production Lead and other functions as needed to perform effectively and efficiently. Analyze root cause and provide corrective and preventative actions on process and equipment. Operate cardboard baler in accordance with safety instructions and recycle. Keep production area cleaned and organized as needed. Breaks down equipment and dry-cleans area in preparation for washing. Uses a high-pressure foamer with a chlorinated alkaline cleaner to wash all framework, floor grates, tables, floor drains, conveyor belts, and machines. Uses a foam cleaner on all equipment as necessary to remove bio-films Uses a low-pressure rinse hose to rinse detergent off equipment and apply a sanitizer on all equipment. Complies with all lock-out|tag-out procedures. Complies with MSDS Right-to-now chemical training. Completes janitorial duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead. Report and document any equipment|process abnormalities. Adheres to all Safety and GMP regulations. Other duties or projects as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
High energy, productive and team player. Effective communication skills. Problem-solving skills. Ability to lift 60 lbs occasionally. Ability to push and|or pull full tofu carts with over 70lbs. Ability to constantly lift, bend, stretch, climb stairs, and stand during entire shift. Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, stoop, twist and reach overhead with repetitive motions. Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
