Job Description
Production Operator Job ref: JC44 We are recruiting for a Production Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Braintree, Essex. This is a hands-on role combining production duties, inventory control, packing and shipping responsibilities, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
Key responsibilities:
- Operating laser, thermal printing and CS-9018 cutting equipment.
- Adjusting production priorities to meet customer requirements.
- Carrying out quality inspections on work in progress and finished products.
- Packing and dispatching customer orders.
- Producing commercial invoices for international shipments.
- Updating e-commerce systems with tracking information and freight costs.
- Managing specialist shipping processes for international customers.
- Maintaining accurate stock and production records.
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and experience updating systems.
Hours of work:
- Monday - Friday
