Job Description

A Day in This Role You'll begin by reviewing priorities in IQMS and aligning your work cell for the day's goals. You coordinate all cell activities, verify with Technicians that equipment and machines are producing to the inspection plan, and train manufacturing associates to ensure every part meets compliance requirements. Throughout the shift, you maintain clean, organized stations, execute 6S and Lean tasks, and oversee production and training across the cell. As issues arise, you dive into root cause analysis and problem solving, elevate quality and documentation concerns to Assistant Supervisors/Supervisors, and confirm that line clearances (labels, parts, and documents) are completed accurately. You'll also handle production reporting, operate assigned work centers and assembly stations, and support new project setups in tandem with Engineering. When needed, you set up tables/fixtures, run secondary automation equipment, and ensure all paperwork and labels match physical counts. Safety is constant—you learn and follow the 'Lock Out Tag Out' procedure as an affected employee and keep the area safe and efficient. Core Responsibilities Operate assigned work centers and assembly stations on the production floor. Set up cell equipment (tables, fixtures, etc.) to meet daily production needs. Complete production reporting and tasks in IQMS and related platforms. Uphold clean, tidy standards; perform 6S and Lean activities. Review procedures/work instructions; recommend improvements to flow and efficiency. Assist Engineering with new project setups and process flows. Train to and run any required secondary automation equipment. Conduct root cause analysis and resolve problems quickly. Inspect product, identify defects, and ensure compliance to the inspection plan. Oversee production and on-the-job training within the assigned cell. Execute line clearances and documentation accurately; pack, weigh, and label parts properly. Support work order changes; ensure paperwork/labels align with counts. Escalate part quality and paperwork compliance issues as needed. Monitor outputs against standards; sustain efficiency, housekeeping, and safety. Regular, professional attendance; perform other duties as required. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 2 years in manufacturing operations. Strong prioritization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills; detail-driven and collaborative. Ability to follow written work instructions; speak, read, and comprehend English. Self-motivated with required mechanical aptitude. Leadership experience preferred. Solid communication, computer, and math skills.
