Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Associate
- Packaging to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient packaging of our premium cannabis products while adhering to strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment dedicated to excellence and compliance. Core Tasks and Responsibilities
- Package accurately, by weight, all flower products offered by Lazy River Products (LRP) Accurate use of scales and balances to ensure the weight of products meet regulatory and LRP SOP requirements.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required Inventory or manufacturing experience preferred Previous Massachusetts cannabis industry, production experience preferred Proficient with Windows OS, Office Suit applications (Office, Word, Excel, etc.) Ability to reliably perform standard mathematical equations pertaining to quantity, weights, and measures Skills
- Ability to demonstrate integrity, accountability, and collaboration Professional demeanor and integrity, positive, coachable attitude with a desire to learn the process, regardless of experience Adaptability to changes in operational priorities, policy or procedures and accountability in your actions Ability to maintain progress towards immediate goals while appropriately prioritizing concurrent or future tasks and highly collaborative with colleagues to achieve our shared goals Strong ability to maintain organization, with proficient written and verbal communication Demonstrate the ability to recognize challenges or problems and to provide thoughtful, proactive solutions Swiftly build, package, and label products with precision and accuracy, by hand or with mechanical assistance Physical Requirement/Work Environment•Manufacturing work environment with occupational exposure to loud machinery, bright lights, airborne particulate, or other production hazards.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and comply with all legal or company regulation requirements for working in the industry. Ability to pass a formal background check per Massachusetts regulatory requirement for agent registration. Ability to work 7:45 am
- 4:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch weekdays, weekends, and holidays if necessary for a total of 40hrs/week.
