Non-Exempt Position Summary:
The Associate, Production position in Assembly will perform day-to-day tasks within the Assembly department and perform other supporting tasks as assigned to meet timelines set within the schedules, ensuring that projects are done accurately to provide the best quality for the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist on the vial and filling machines Order Pulling Perform in areas of Assembly including but not limited to: Clam shelling Processing reships and additional files Labeling tubes and boxes by hand Inserting bases if applicable Following all line clearance processes Panel building multiple kinds of panels Filling out all documentation as required Performing metrics on tasks completed daily Performing all cleaning tasks as required Read and understand work orders Keep workstations cleaned and organized Performs other duties as assigned
Education:
High School diploma, General Education Degree, or equivalent experience
Experience:
1 year of previous related experience preferred
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and consisely communicate to all levels of the organization. Good organizational skills. Attention to detail to ensure all material is allocated and used accurately Ability to follow instructions as assigned Ability to work in a team atmosphere Thrives on the opportunity to excel Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, and Word a plus Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressure, within deadlines or other time essential constraints Ability to read and write in English Meet and maintain high attendance standards Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed to support the organization
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Control exposures to hazardous chemicals and other safety hazards such as: Potential of broken glass Sharp objects High heat for sealing boxes Semi-automated equipment hazards Able to life 50 lbs
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range:
$18-$20/hr, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
