Press Operator

Our client is currently seeking a skilled Press Operator in Leominster, Massachusetts , to support daily production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on machine operating experience who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with industrial press equipment, reading technical documents, and maintaining strong production standards throughout each shift. The Day-to-Day:

Set up and calibrate press machinery according to blueprints, job orders, and production specifications Operate equipment such as offset, digital, flexographic, or brake presses with accuracy and consistency Monitor press cycles, pressure levels, and finished output to ensure quality and efficiency Verify proper registration, bend angles, and overall product conformance during production runs Make adjustments as needed to maintain performance and meet job requirements Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on machinery to support safe and efficient operation Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, material jams, and production issues promptly Inspect finished products closely to ensure they meet company standards for accuracy and quality Follow workplace safety guidelines and maintain a clean production area Work closely with team members and supervisors to keep production moving smoothly and on schedule

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required Specialized technical training or certifications in printing or manufacturing preferred 2 to 3 years of experience operating industrial machinery Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and color consistency when applicable Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials as needed Comfortable working in varying temperatures and active production environments Dependable, safety-minded, and able to maintain productivity throughout the shift

Pay Rate:

$24.00 to $27.00 per hour

Schedule:
