Production Specialist
  • Prep Operator Leominster, MA Are you ready to join a dynamic team where your skills in production and attention to detail can shine? Our client is seeking a dedicated Production Specialist
  • Prep Operator to play a crucial role in their wire/cable preparation department. This position is essential for creating processed material kits that are vital for the final assembly of products. Responsibilities of the Production Specialist
  • Prep Operator Operate automated cutting machines, coilers, wire strippers, and crimping machines under the guidance of a team leader.
Manage equipment for printing labels and cutting/printing tubing. Utilize small hand tools such as strippers, pliers, wire cutters, and heat guns for preparation tasks. Sign off on first-piece verification for operations performed by other operators in the Prep area. Fulfill service requests for prepped material from various organizational areas. Identify and operate the appropriate Prep Department equipment for required operations. Maintain an organized and clean work area in compliance with Lean 5S or FOD (Foreign Object Damage) policy. Adhere to EIS/Electro-Wire quality, efficiency, and safety requirements. Complete all corporate training requirements and comply with
ISO-9001
quality standards. Requirements of the Production Specialist
  • Prep Operator Ability to effectively read, comprehend, and communicate in English preferred.
Ability to differentiate between 10 standard wire colors. Highly skilled in collaborating with team members productively. Proficient in reading both standard and metric scales. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications and other third-party software. Demonstrated understanding of Electro-Wire quality, efficiency, and safety requirements.
