$40•$60/HR, OT, 8% bonus, 401k, PTO, Health Why should you apply? In this role you will be part of day to day operations for a plant providing generation to the local market. You will be responsible for start up/shut down, operational cycles, directing AO's and ensuring plant reliability from the board. Great stability, growth, and compensation package. Job Responsibilities:
Monitor, operate, and control all plant systems through the Distributed Control System (DCS) to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient power generation. Perform plant startups, shutdowns, load changes, and equipment alignments in accordance with operating procedures and grid demand requirements. Continuously monitor plant performance, identify abnormal operating conditions, and take immediate corrective actions to maintain system reliability. Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment issues, support maintenance activities, and minimize downtime. Conduct routine inspections, equipment rounds, operational testing, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and shift turnover documentation. Ensure compliance with all OSHA, environmental, NERC, plant safety, and operating procedures while maintaining a strong safety-first culture. Respond to plant emergencies, alarms, and abnormal events, executing emergency operating procedures to protect personnel, equipment, and system integrity. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational efficiencies, participating in training programs, and maintaining qualifications on plant systems and equipment. #ENG1
