Our work environment includes:
International workforce Casual work attire We are seeking a Floor Person that takes pride in their work and has the ability to maintain and monitor product levels for the continuous operation of machines. This position is responsible for moving materials, packaging, and product through the steps of production. This position will comply with all company policies and procedures.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Re-supply machines with raw material of the proper type and dryness. Refill ovens and silos as needed for assigned areas. Make cartons per procedures. Read all work order instructions for assigned machines. Identify cartons per documented instructions. Package product that has passed in-process inspections. Move product per move tag instructions Grind runners in proper grinder. Report problems to the shift foreman. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Mechanical knowledge. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify issues and communicate with the supervisor and coworkers.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Plastics background preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be physically able to perform job duties such as moving and lifting product into production machines. Prolonged periods on foot/moving/working on equipment. Must be able to push, pull, contort, manual dexterity.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$16.25 - $18.00 per hour
