Job Title:

General Helper Job Description Assist in the setup, maintenance, and operation of machinery used in the sheet metal fabrication process. Help in the assembly of finished products by following safety and quality guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety standards are met and support the seamless operation of the production process. Responsibilities Load and unload materials and products as needed. Assist with deburring, graining, hardware insertion, and assembling sheet metal components. Move and transport materials to different workstations and areas as directed. Perform inventory checks and assist with stock management. Ensure proper handling and storage of sheet metal and other materials. Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Report any machinery issues, safety hazards, or maintenance needs. Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations. Essential Skills General labor Inventory management Order picking Production assistance Material handling Packing Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a manufacturing or labor-intensive role is required Ability to lift heavy materials up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods Basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery is preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively Strong work ethic and reliability Why Work Here? Employees work around machinery, tools, and materials used for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components. The pace can be steady and hands‑on, with an emphasis on safety, teamwork, and attention to detail. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sharon, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
