Job Description:

General Production Worker Duties:

• The Production Line Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines used in the production of high-quality plastic films.
• You will ensure the efficient operation of the production line, ensuring that all products meet quality standards while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the Roll quality is to specification, layer counts are accurate, and Quality technicians have approved. Stamp core legibly, and arrows are facing the correct direction on the spindle shaft.
• Manually lift rolls from spindles, place them on scale for weighing and stack finished rolls.
• Recording of production weights, layer counts, and production problems on the production report.
• Ensure that empty gaylord skids are available for change when full gaylords are ready.
• General housekeeping and maintenance of your production area.
• Monitor production line operation and report interruptions immediately with public address system.
• Handle all production rolls with care to not damage the edges or face.
• Abide by the Kosher procedures in place.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

ESSENTIALS JOB DUTIES

• Operate machines according to production specifics.
• Operate machines efficiently to produce high-quality plastic films, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings such as speed, to maintain product quality.
• Maintain proper stock levels of materials and notify the supervisor when inventory is low.
• Continuously monitor film quality during production, inspecting for visual defects.
• Report any recurring mechanical problems with the machines.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sutton, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
