Miller Compounder

One of our premier clients in Taunton, MA is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Miller Compounder Operators to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves machine operation, material handling, mixing/compounding, quality checks, and adherence to strict safety and production standards.

Pay:

$24.47 per hour base + $1.75/hr shift differential 2nd

Shift:

Monday - Friday | 3:00pm to 11:30pm 3rd

Shift:

Monday - Friday | 11:00pm to 7:30am

Qualifications:

Manufacturing experience required (or closely related industrial experience) Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 lbs Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written work orders Comfortable working in a production and team-based environment Commitment to workplace safety and PPE requirements

Responsibilities:

Observe production and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation Watch gauges, dials, and indicators to ensure proper machine function Record operational and production data accurately on required forms Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas using equipment and hand tools Visually inspect materials and products to ensure quality standards are met Follow work orders precisely to meet customer specifications and process requirements Perform routine equipment maintenance and identify maintenance needs Troubleshoot operating errors and assist in resolving production issues Mixing / Compound Blending (Master Batch Production) Accurately measure and load raw materials into mixing equipment Operate machines to blend ingredients for specified time periods Transfer finished materials into labeled containers (buckets/bags) Perform complete cleanouts between production runs Submit properly labeled samples to QA/QC for testing Screening Operations Load material blocks into screening machines and operate cycle Monitor material flow and adjust cutting length as needed Weigh product pieces to ensure compliance with specifications Package, label, and store finished materials on racks Milling Operations Prepare and label material slabs according to formulation requirements Weigh and stage materials per mill room formulas Operate rolling mill equipment to process and refine materials Cut, fold, and reprocess material until final product standards are met Prepare finished sheets for extrusion and QA/QC submission If you are interested, apply to this posting or call our office at (774) 501-1692 for more information.
