Full-Time - Non-Exempt Position Summary The Production Assistant - Basque is responsible for improving production transaction accuracy, supporting cycle count execution, and ensuring alignment between physical production activity and system reporting. This role serves as a key liaison between production and shared services, while also supporting purchasing coordination related to packaging specifications and new product setup. Key Responsibilities 1. Production Transaction Processing Process and validate production-related inventory transactions including POP transactions, production completions, and inventory moves Ensure transactions are timely, accurate, and aligned with actual production activity Reinforce consistent and standardized system transaction practices across shifts Own tracking and follow up of open inventory discrepancies until resolution 2. Cycle Count Execution & Variance Support Perform and support routine cycle counts and validation checks Assist in identifying and resolving inventory variances and root causes 3. Production Reporting Accuracy Ensure production output is accurately captured in the system Align system-recorded production with actual floor activity 4. Inventory & Transaction Reconciliation Support Assist in investigating discrepancies between physical and system inventory Support reconciliation of production-related variances 5. Purchasing & Packaging Coordination (New Product Support) Coordinate packaging specifications including dimensions, materials, and configurations Facilitate packaging samples and provide accurate data to purchasing for sourcing and ordering 6. Process Support (WIP + System Improvements) Support implementation of WIP tracking and scan gun processes Reinforce standard work and consistent system usage 7. Cross-Functional Liaison Act as a liaison between production, accounting, and product development Ensure alignment between floor activity, system transactions, and reporting expectations Other Duties Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Physical Requirements / Working Conditions Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Required Education/Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required; manufacturing or inventory experience preferred.
