Job Title:
Production Worker Job Description The Production Worker supports high-volume manufacturing operations by accurately following job instructions, operating and monitoring production lines, and ensuring products are bottled, packaged, and documented according to established standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth, efficient production flow while upholding quality, safety, and documentation requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Accurately read, interpret, and execute job instructions to ensure correct setup and processing on the production line. Load materials onto the production line and operate equipment to maintain an even and continuous flow of product. Monitor production line operations and promptly address issues to ensure the bottling line runs smoothly and efficiently. Perform general production duties, including handling materials, operating machinery, and supporting team members as needed. Remove and separate defective materials or products, and accurately document and report all defects according to procedures. Label, package, and palletize finished products for storage or shipment in accordance with company standards and customer requirements. Complete all required production paperwork and enter data into computer systems to document work performed and quantities produced. Monitor material levels throughout the shift and resupply the production line to prevent work stoppages. Initiate restock notifications in a timely manner when material levels are low to maintain continuous operations. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to quality and safety guidelines at all times. Perform additional duties as required to support production goals and team needs. Work extended hours when necessary to meet production deadlines and business demands. Essential Skills At least 2 years of experience in production and manufacturing or machine operating roles. Experience in a manufacturing environment, with hands-on experience on production lines. Experience with bottling line operations is strongly preferred. Ability to operate and monitor production and bottling line machinery safely and efficiently. Proven experience in general production tasks such as packing, packaging, picking, and palletizing. Ability to accurately read, interpret, and follow written job instructions and SOPs. Comfort using basic computer systems for data entry and production documentation. Strong attention to detail for identifying, separating, and documenting defective materials or products. Capability to work in a fast-paced production environment and maintain consistent output. Reliable attendance and willingness to work extended hours when required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience as a bottling line operator, bottler, or line worker in a manufacturing setting. Hands-on experience as a machine operator, including basic machine operation and monitoring. Experience in packing, picker/packer, or general production roles within manufacturing. Ability to work effectively as part of a production team of varying sizes. Comfort working with standardized procedures and quality-focused processes. Why Work Here? Work Environment Multiple shifts are available, with current openings on the first shift (6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) and an additional second shift operating from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The environment is fast-paced, safety- and quality-focused, and structured around standardized operating procedures typical of a modern manufacturing facility. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cockeysville, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr.
