  • 3:30 PM Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_176334 In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain power press machines to clip, punch, shape, and notch large-scale sheet metal components.
These parts are critical to the assembly of commercial air handling units, industrial ductwork, and heavy-duty ventilation systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate punch presses according to blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications.
  • Select, install, and align the correct dies, punches, and tools required.
  • Load raw sheet metal into the machine manually.
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gauges to ensure they meet strict tolerances and HVAC airtightness specifications.

  • Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication software or basic G-code programming.
Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience operating a punch press, brake press, or similar fabrication machinery in a manufacturing environment (HVAC or heavy industrial experience preferred).
