Job Description
Overview The IIM BPO Production Technical Support Operator position is responsible for monitoring and reporting on all technical requirements used in production, including all software and hardware. The IIM BPO Production Technical Support Operator is responsible for configuring standard project settings in the capture software. In addition, this role monitors and reports on the functionality of all hardware in production ensuring all equipment is working well, and contacts appropriate parties when escalation is necessary. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
- Standard project software configuration
- Continually increasing imaging software proficiency
- Monitoring and reporting on batch workflow, and intervenes when necessary
- Monitoring and reporting on of automated processes
- Monitoring and reporting on in-house hardware (workstations and scanners)
- Responsible for all uploads and customer ingestion
- Initial hardware and software troubleshooting and resolution Other essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for standard project configuration in imaging software
- Monitoring and reporting on all automated processes, including reporting and customer product delivery
- Continually increasing proficiency on imaging software
- Monitoring and reporting on in-house hardware functionality (workstations and scanners)
- Escalating issues to appropriate parties when problems arise
- Monitoring and reporting on all automated processes and letting the Processing Center Manager know of any issues that arise
- Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Strong listening skills; ability to understand customers' needs and equate them to IIM BPO Services
- Ability to execute within a team structure
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and external vendors
- Knowledge of Business Process Outsource, back-file and day forward scanning preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of BPO capture software tools and abilities preferred Education Requirements
- Two- year college degree or satisfactory completion of a business curriculum from an accredited school and/ or equivalent work experience Experience Requirements
- One to two years of technical experience in BPO production
- One to three years of experience in BPO Services or a related industry
- Experience providing solutions relating to business process improvement
- Experience servicing internal and external customers
