Job Description

Job Summary We are actively seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist with strong environmental compliance expertise to manage and maintain environmental, health and safety programs within manufacturing. Responsibilities Lead EH&S initiatives ensuring adherence to regulations. Develop and update EHS policies including chemical safety and injury prevention. Maintain compliance with
EPA, OSHA, MDE
regulatory requirements. Manage wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste compliance activities. Conduct inspections, risk assessments, audits, and investigations. Develop corrective actions for workplace hazards and compliance risks. Deliver EHS training programs for employees and management.. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience managing environmental permits and reporting requirements. Professional certification in environmental, health, or safety disciplines preferred. Current
HAZWOPER
certification or ability to obtain certification preferred. Preferred Skills Experience with hazardous waste programs and
HAZWOPER
requirements.
