Production Associate

Job Title:

Production Associate Job Description The role involves performing repetitive general labor tasks such as taking bricks from kiln carts and stacking them on a monorail. This position requires standing in one area and repeatedly moving bricks. Responsibilities Assist in all brick manufacturing operations. Mix sands for sand applications and set up and maintain sand applications. Mix slurry for slurry applications and set up and maintain all aspects of slurry applications. Clean, maintain, install, and adjust all dies, heads, and cutting blades. Monitor and ensure the quality of bricks being made. Track schedule and ensure paints and sands are ready for changeovers. Maintain all standard operating procedures and inventory tracking documents. Observe, report, and assist in department equipment maintenance and repairs as directed. Essential Skills Strong mechanical skills and understanding. Willingness to learn and take direction. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Work Environment The work environment is hot in the summer and cold in the winter, with a relatively dusty atmosphere. The dress code requires steel-toed boots and long pants, with vests and safety glasses provided. Standard working hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rocky Ridge, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
