About US Arnaiz Chocolat is a luxury chocolate shop located in the heart of historic St. Michaels, Maryland. We specialize in small-batch, handcrafted chocolates and confections, each made with precision, creativity, and the highest quality ingredients. Our shop is known for its elegant presentation, innovative seasonal offerings, and commitment to creating memorable, sensory-rich experiences for every customer Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Chocolate Production Assistant to join our growing team. This hands-on role supports the daily production of our fine chocolates, confections, and seasonal treats. You will work alongside our Head Chocolatier in a clean, organized, and creatively driven environment where quality and craftsmanship come first. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation, molding, enrobing, and finishing of artisanal chocolates and confections Measure, temper, and handle chocolate using proper techniques and safety procedures Help prepare fillings, ganaches, caramels, brittles, and other components Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of production equipment and kitchen areas Package products with attention to aesthetic detail and brand standards Track inventory of ingredients and packaging supplies; alert team to low stock Occasionally assist in front-of-house setup for special displays or seasonal promotions Adhere to food safety protocols and maintain a high standard of hygiene at all times Ideal Candidate Has previous kitchen, baking, pastry, or chocolate experience (preferred, but willing to train the right person) Possesses excellent attention to detail and a steady hand for delicate work Is comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs Works well independently and as part of a small, creative team Is punctual, reliable, and flexible with availability—especially during holidays or seasonal rushes Appreciates artistry, quality ingredients, and luxury presentation What We Offer A supportive, creative work environment rooted in craftsmanship and community Opportunities for skill development in artisan chocolate-making Employee discount on all Arnaiz Chocolat products Embark on an exciting journey in the world of confectionery manufacturing!
