Ducktrap.com to learn more about us. Summary A Production worker will perform a variety of tasks throughout their shift. These tasks include but are not limited to, "Dry" brining salmon fillets, "Wet" brining raw trout fillets and portioned salmon in sinks, places brined product onto screens and trolleys for smoking, assists with freezer pull, (the process of thawing frozen fillets), and cleaning and sanitizing the work areas. Responsibilities Must be able to lift 60lbs. Must be able to push and pull loaded salmon trollies. Assists the team in the brining processes of raw fillets in either the Dry brine and/or Wet brine departments. Must be willing to works in refrigerated rooms, (55 degrees F.) Required to stand, bend, twist, push and lift throughout the shift. Must wear proper "PPE" - smock, hair net, apron, cutting glove, rubber gloves and boots. Assists the team in the cleaning and sanitation of the production rooms and coolers. Assists the team with freezer pull, (removing product from the freezer using electric pallet jacks and placing the product onto trolleys to thaw for brining). Must fill out appropriate paperwork clearly and accurately. Must follow safe work and sanitation standards. Must follow company policies and SOP's. Education Requirements High School Diploma or the equivalent.
